Preparation | Bis (cyanobenzene) palladium dichloride can be prepared by reacting palladium acetate or palladium chloride with benzonitrile. A mixture of palladium (II) acetate (502 mg,2.2 mmol),HCl(37% aqueous solution, 0.7 mL,8.5 mmol) and benzonitrile (15 mL) was stirred for 30 minutes in a 50 mL flask at 90°C. Let the mixture cool at 20°C, and then add hexane (8 mL). The mixture was filtered through diatomite and washed with hexane. The filtrate was cooled to 4°C to obtain crystals. Filter crystals. Wash with hexane and dry under high vacuum. |
use | palladium bis (cyanobenzene) dichloride is a palladium catalyst, which is widely used in the fields of organic chemical industry, pharmaceutical chemical industry and liquid crystal material synthesis. Chinese alias bis (benzonitrile) palladium chloride, reverse bis (benzonitrile) dichloropalladium (II), yellow powder, insoluble in water, soluble in acetone and chloroform. Store in a closed and dry place. |
